Strength & Conditioning
The golf swings of elite amateurs and professionals are often hugely athletic as they try to find extra distance. We don’t often change technical elements of a players swing (we leave that to their home coach), however we do like to help them to maintain flexibility and improve their balance.
This mind-body training is relaxing, but is also very important in helping prevent injuries which can often occur during demanding playing schedules. Some of the most common areas of golf injuries are in the lower back, hands and wrists, elbows and shoulders. The lower back and elbows are the most common injury areas across men and women (Metz, 1999).
